Compilers

I'm learning aboutt compilers so the term lub came up. It stands for Least Upper Bound. It's also called a semi lattice. I don't know what a semi lattice is but a lattice to me is a network of organized connections. According to wikipedia, a semilattice is an ordering of ordered pairs or something of the sort.
Any rule for a case should try to cover every case.
In learning about compilers, I am also learning to describe languages. One of those mentioned is Λ(M). The Λ is a upper case lamba. I really wish I had learned the Greek alphabet in high school.
