I like robots and motorcycles. So I thought why not combine the two passions and make a robotic motorcycle, especially since self driving cars are becoming a reality.
Through a simple quick browse of the internet a few years back, I seemed to be the first to come up with the idea and decide to implement it. But after skipping ahead in my Artificial Intelligence class to the robotics portion I find a clip of a robotic motorcycle implemented by none other than UC Berkeley. They called it, "Ghostrider." It was used to participate in the DARPA Grand Challenge.
