Clutch cable

Recently my clutch cable broke so that means that i need a new one. Luckily I found someone with a spare ex500 clutch cable. One guy on forums says it's a little shorter but works. However, another guy on the same forum says that they're the same. I am hoping the second guy is right because that's the only part I have for today. The real part might come thursday though.
