Ethics

I'm learning about technical ethics and a phrase that came up was Kantian deontological ethics. Deontological means that they're ethics based on doing good out of duty. The Kantian part denotes the ideas of the man this part is named after. But anyway the Kantian part means that as long as the intention of good was involved then the action is considered good. So the whole term means that an action performed out of the goodness of your heart out of duty to the rightness of all righteousness is an ethical right.
